A Structural Engineer by profession and presently pursuing his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He was born and raised in Thrissur, Kerala in a liberal family. He had affection and sympathy towards all living creatures from childhood and sympathy gradually grew to empathy in a very short duration of time. He got his first dog at the age of 11 named “Chicku” and he was his first companion in his life. Then several animals came on his way in the due course of time and he never rejected any rescue alerts of animals in distress. It was his ambition to do something concrete that helps animals in distress. At this young age, he founded a public charitable trust -WEFAA to help suffering animals and advocate for their freedom & wellness. Now he is in his new venture to make a change in the lives of strays and neglected animals and he believes that it is his destiny! He has spent everything to raise this up and has become very active in this field of animal welfare during his stay at IITM. Helped a lot of animals in distress. With a heart brimming with love and a profound commitment to those who cannot speak for themselves, Vivek’s life exemplifies the spirit and purpose of the Walking Eye Foundation. His tireless efforts continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless animals.
